Department of Reform Coordination

The department is responsible for providing the work-friendly and conducive environment for the Professional and Technical Departments, which the Ministry is mainly composed of, to strive in their discharge of responsibilities with dignity and job satisfaction, for the realisation of the overall mandate of the Ministry.

Key Function

  • To serve as a focal point for driving all change, reform, innovation, and improvement efforts within the Ministry in line with the framework set by BPSR, OHCSF, and other agencies of Government.
  • Manage and drive SERVICOM's aim and initiatives within the Ministry.
  • Assist the leadership of the Ministry to articulate and coordinate their change agenda in line with service policies.
  • Troubleshoot service failures and develop proposals to address them.
  • Liaise with the SERVICOM Office (Presidency) to develop, refine, improve, and recommend more efficient processes and systems in the Ministry to achieve its objectives.
  • Coordinate,drive, and report on the reform agenda in the MDA.
  • Office Allocation/Management.
  • Service improvement (SERVICOM).
  • Work with BPSR, OHCSF, and SERVICOM Office in the Presidency to develop interventions and to eliminate such gaps.
  • Monitor reports and provide on behaviours that bear on corruption.
  • Develop and deploy change management tools and practices and institute sustainable improvement.
  • Coordination of all activities relating to anti-corruption (ACTU).
